JavaScript preventExtensions() method

The Javascript handler preventExtensions() method traps the Object.preventExtensions method. New properties can not be added to the object when extensions are prevented.

Syntax:

preventExtensions: function(target)

Parameters:
target: It represents the target object.

Return:
Boolean.
